BOXXHEAD

INSIDE THE BOXX
Half painter, half print maker and two thirds street artist, BOXXHEAD (aka Kevin McNulty) is a mixed media abstract artist whose work can be found at exhibitions and galleries across the UK.
Known for his bold and expressive use of colour, BOXXHEAD communicates social and political issues with a child-like style. Allowing his unfiltered ideas and emotions to spill out across the layers of automatic mark making and spontaneous hand drawn images that create his artwork.
So what's in the BOXX?
The BOXX is a quiet place away from control and technology, away from the mass media and their constant stream of messages that aim to influence us. However, more importantly, it’s a space that allows primitive humanism and authentic naivety to thrive.
